Methodist Chapel

The chapel has seen several joyous occasions recently, including the christening of Alice Elsie Fotheringham, on Sunday, August 27th.
We hope everyone enjoyed our scarecrow coffee morning!!! As always, we had great fun working together on this creation.

September 17th saw the annual Harvest Festival at Upton Methodist Chapel, led by Mr Richard Alderson. The chapel was decorated for the occasion and included a table laden with dried and tinned goods which were forwarded to the Salvation Army Food Bank in Gainsborough. A packed chapel with a congregation from the surrounding villages enjoyed an uplifting service followed by coffee, cakes and fruit. Many thanks to all who contributed to the success of this event.

Forthcoming events:
All are welcome!

Every Sunday - service at 10.30
United Remembrance Service at All Saints Church, Upton, led by Mr. Mike Childs, on Sunday, November 12th at 10.15.
Coffee mornings are held on 2nd Wednesday of the month, 10-11.30.

Donations of tinned and dried goods can be brought to the chapel and will be taken to the Food Bank on a regular basis. Thank you.
